What we do

Three ways to earn on the electricity market with us

We handle market operations, forecasting, balancing and settlements — you focus on your facility.

Aggregation

Aggregated group

We combine SPPs, WPPs, ESS, CHP and controllable loads into a single aggregation unit. The aggregator is the balance responsible party for all units in the group.

  • access to the DAM, IDM and balancing market without in-house trading
  • lower imbalances thanks to the portfolio effect
  • revenue from ESS and load flexibility

Balancing

Balancing group

Since October 2020, GS-TRADING LLC has acted as a balance responsible party: internal netting of participants' hourly deviations reduces imbalance settlement costs.

  • hourly schedule monitoring
  • mutual offsetting of imbalances
  • transparent settlement procedure
About the balancing group
Portfolio effect

Together — more accurate, more stable, more profitable

Deviations of individual facilities from the schedule partly offset one another within the group. The overall imbalance of the aggregated group is therefore much smaller than the sum of each participant's imbalances.

  • Renewable producers — solar and wind plants, including those leaving the feed-in tariff or the Guaranteed Buyer's balancing group.
  • ESS owners — DAM/IDM price arbitrage, balancing market and ancillary services.
  • CHP and gas engine units — operation during high-price hours and provision of reserves.
  • Consumers with controllable load — revenue from reducing consumption on command.
